I've attempted to connect many times including registering more than once and it never sends the confirmation email for activation. I've checked spam folder and rebooted. Cleared the memory etc. Still nothing. Must be on Yamaha's end.

Not that this is it - but there's a potential for lots of systems to breakdown here over the coming months as browsers get rid of support for older security protocols and different service providers also make changes in preparation for these changes - so different pieces of an online puzzle may not talk to each other if one link in the chain is updated while others are not.
Kind of less of a synth issue and maybe more site feedback.
