Hi folks,

I have just purchased the new YC61.

I have a Yamaha sustain-pedal 'FC3A' controlling (obviously!) the 'sustain', and a Yamaha 'FC-7' pedal controlling the 'volume' (albeit I will only be using this for Organ patches). The former is connected to the 'sustain' jack-in and latter to 'foot-controller' jack-in #1.

I really need, please, a foot-controlled means of triggering the 'rotary-speed' fast/slow when playing Hammond patches. I play a lot of left-hand-bass gigs and so I can't sacrifice losing one hand to perform this particular task. I have tried all of the pedals I own, and in different combinations, but to no avail. From what I have seen in the manual most of the discussion is regarding MIDI CC pedal transmission/reception.

I am sure the keyboard must be able to cater for this particular request.

Many thanks in advance for any kind assistance offered here.

Best,

Paul David Seaman (UK)

Plug a Foot Switch into the “Assignable” Foot Switch jack.
Set the Foot Switch to cc85
[MENU] button → “General” → “Keyboard/Pedal” → “Foot Switch Assign”

See page 60 of your Owner’s Manual.

Hi Bad Mister,

Yes, it works via the “Assignable” Foot-Switch jack, thanks. I see that there are a multitude of options within the 'CC#' menu display.

I thought my issue was relating to the 'polarity' of my many pedals.

Best,

Paul
