I have formatted and loaded Current firmware to flash Drive. MODX8 is powered off. Pressing cursor up and Utility buttons and nothing happens. Can you help?

Let go when the YAMAHA MODX logo appears. The instrument will search for the Updater.
If your instrument does not respond and just boots up normally, (please say that is what happens) saying “nothing happens“ is non-helpful. Saying it did not go into the update routine is helpful.
Make sure that the .PGM Updater file is unzipped and in the root directory of the USB flash stick.
The update takes several minutes... the screen will say “Completed. please Reboot” when it is done.
