Set your mixer to +4dB for your line inputs. I'd set your Montage to perhaps 0dB or -6dB and then bring it up with the volume knob to around +4dB to MATCH your mixer input setting. Leave the Montage volume set at this point and then adjust using the mixer's volume for more or less of a volume level. That should work well for you.
