What you want is available elsewhere, move on.

A bit confused by this as I just did a online chat with Yamaha support and the response I received was much different. I don't know if the lack of Midi 2.0 is a dealbreaker for me, but it makes it a more difficult decision. A buddy of mine has the M8x and I really like the board and the ESP plugin, but I also don't upgrade keyboards all that often. If I knew Midi 2.0 was going to be added later to the M8x, for certain, I would feel much better about buying it.
